Mother’s day is a good day to pay homage to the mother who gave you life. It doesn’t matter if she was a great mother or a lousy one, what matters is that you are here because of her. My mother gave me life and raised me for the first 7 or 8 years of my life. My grandmother was the beautiful woman who raised me. I am grateful to both of these beautiful and very psychic women, yes, both my grandmothers and my mother are psychic, so it is no wonder I am who I am!
Enjoy this recording of an interview I did with my children about what it was like having a Psychic for a mom.

Did you know:
The custom of wearing a carnation on Mother’s Day was begun in the United States in the 1907 and was created by Anna Jarvis in honor of her mother who had died two years before. Jarvis used white carnations as a symbol for mothers; Carnations represent sweetness, purity and the endurance of mother love. Today, a white carnation indicates that a person’s mom is dead. A colored carnation means that the person’s Mother is living.
In 1914 President Wilson declared the second Sunday in May to be Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, Anna Jarvis became bitter over the commercialization of the holiday. She filed a lawsuit to stop a 1923 Mother’s Day event and was even arrested for disturbing the peace at a mother’s convention where white carnations were being sold. ”
I wanted it to be a day of sentiment, not profit,” she said.
Mother’s Day originates from ancient spring festivals dedicated to the maternal goddesses. In fact, the Greeks and Romans had mother goddess festivals. The Greeks honored Rhea, the mother of the gods and goddesses of Greek mythology. Ancient Romans had a three day spring festival dedicated to Cybele, which included parades, games and masquerades.
In 1600’s England they had what became known as Mothering Sunday which was celebrated on the fourth Sunday of Lent to allow young men and women who worked and lived apart from their mother church to return so they could observe Lent and visit their families in the process. Small gifts were given, and a special dessert called a Simnel cake was served.
Have a MOTHER-ful weekend!

As a ghost whisperer (medium) for over half a century the differences between ghost and spirit have become hauntingly apparent! A spirit is not earth bound but a ghost is because it has left a part of itself behind.
