You May Not See Us But We Are Here! Paranormal Activity Ghosts and Spirits
Does the thought of a haunted mansion bring up images of an old dilapidated house on the hill with bats flying from the belfry? Haunted mansions exist, but what most people don’t know is that their home may have paranormal activity as well. Your mansion can be the home you are living in, a small shack way out in the country, a brand new home or a hundred year old fixer upper.
Imagine finding the home of your dreams and moving into your worst nightmare. Your mansion may be haunted with earthbound spirits or ghosts and nothing may be as it seems! At first all seems perfect with the afterglow of “new” home ownership. Even that “cold spot” isn’t bothersome as it is probably a draft you tell yourself. Slowly, over a period of days or months you find yourself glancing over your shoulder as if you expected to find someone in the room with you. It doesn’t do much good to say “There ain’t no such thing as a ghost”. Eventually the day comes when you see shadowy figures out of the corner of an eye and think “hmmm, must have been a cat” and shake your head because you don’t own a pet. Paranormal activity has begun! The journey of disbelief begins as does finding “logical reasons” for the things that are happening in your house.
Most of the time living with ghosts is more surprising or annoying than malevolent. I have lived with both for over 50 years and believe me you can give me the sweet ghost who walks out of a closet to hand out sachet, or the unseen giggling of a little girl and the thumping of a bouncing ball down the stairs any day! I must admit it is a bit disconcerting to feel like you are being watched when you are sitting on the throne or taking a shower!
Not all creaks and groans you hear during the night are simple to dismiss. You may feel a desire to check under the bed or to leave the lights on at bedtime. The need to look over your shoulder to see if you are being watched may be your house screaming to get your attention. You are not crazy nor are you the only one who has experienced this. I believe you because I have experienced hauntings and have helped hundreds of others who have experienced them as well.
