Apparition of a Ghost or Spirit

Apparition of a Ghost or Spirit

An apparition is a spirit strong enough to gather its energy to become visible. A great example would be Jesus when he walked and talked to his disciples three days after his physical body died. This spirit will look as it did when alive.  An apparition is the supernatural or paranormal manifestation of the person or animal who now has no physical body.

Shortly after grandfather’s death, my grandmother saw him working in the garden he loved. She thought she was hallucinating but in actually she was seeing what is called the recent dead apparition.  He looked as real as you or me and shortly after the appearance in his garden, neighbors mentioned seeing him in the bank and around town. Depending on the strength of the spirit’s energy the apparition may appear almost transparent and or looks as real as you or I.

A “Crisis” apparition happens when someone wants to let you know that they are dead or have just died. When the message is delivered the apparition leaves. A friend in the Army, Cal, appeared to his girlfriend Rita to let her know his platoon had been ambushed and they had all been killed.

One night around Christmas my sister Robin was alone in the house.  She saw a group of people walk out of her kitchen wall by twos. Walking quietly, almost reverently, with their hands folded the group stopped and congregated where the Christmas tree stood with the blinking lights, and then walked on. Watching in awe, Robin could tell  this must have been a special occasion because the men wore top hats and gray or dark suits and the women were dressed in long dresses. When Robin sees these visions she thinks they are living people and enjoys watching them re-enact their lives but when she tries to talk to them, they do not speak back. “Historical” apparitions haunt homes or the land. They act as they did when they were alive. They are always dressed in period clothing and do not speak or acknowledge the presence of the living.

A dying person will often see the apparition of loved ones who has passed over who is there to assist them during their passage to the other side. This is known as “Death Bed” apparition.  Just before her passing, my friend Katherine exclaimed, “Steven is here and he is smiling at me!”

When a manifestation appears at certain times of the year, it is known as a “Recurring” apparition. Often you will see pets, and people reenacting their life in addition to ghostly armies marching across the battlefield.

Some apparitions can appear simultaneously too many people at the same time. The Virgin Mary has appeared many times throughout the ages. Since her appearance at Fatima in 1917 and Garabandal in the 1960’s there has been a sudden increase of appearances all over the world. This would be considered a “Collective” apparition.

An apparition can be either a spirit or a ghost, these are known as a supernatural manifestation. What I have shared with you comes from my half century of experience as a ghost whisperer. ”If paranormal activity is frightening you, if you are unsure of how to proceed, I would be happy to assist you in dealing with such things. I have successfully used my abilities as a ghost whisperer and medium to help others deal with the paranormal state of their lives.

A private Mediumship session is powerful any time of the year when you have an experienced medium. This is the most powerful month of the year to receive your private Mediumship or psychic reading.  Call or email today for your chance to hear from your loved one who is waiting to speak with you this is one of the best aspects of the paranormal state.

Ghost Whisperer

Rare_Spirit_Photograph_LILY_DALE_NY.sizedAs a ghost whisperer (medium) for over half a century the differences between ghost and spirit have become hauntingly apparent! A spirit is not earth bound but a ghost is because it has left a part of itself behind.

A spirit is the soul essence and personality of the person who has died. When we die our soul goes back from where it came, to be reborn into its new existence. The only thing this soul leaves behind is the physical body it doesn’t have a use for any longer. Their soul energy went with them leaving nothing left behind other than the memories they helped to create and the physical body that housed their soul. The spirit of a loved one can travel through the astral mists to be with you in the blink of an eye and will sometimes stay for a while giving you signs they are visiting.

You may hear their favorite song, or see them when you least expect it. If you are sensitive to spirit energy you may recognize their energy by suddenly thinking of the person more than you usually would. A spirit is not bound to this earth and can visit with many loved ones at the same time. Most of the time they come to let someone know that they are OK, other times they will give warnings and gather when another loved one is preparing to pass into spirit.

A ghost on the other hand is a soul that has left a part of itself behind here on earth. The part that is left behind is trapped between dimensions and becomes earthbound. This is known as splintered soul energy and creates what is known as residual energy, the energy imprint that is left behind where the death occurred. Usually this is caused when the physical body dies very quickly or unexpectedly, from an accident, suicide, guilt or violent death. The part of the spirit that is left behind will not know it is now dead. These ghosts are also known as lost souls and are trapped by their confusion or fear of going a place of punishment and become stuck between dimensions.

So now we know the differences between Ghosts and Spirits but did you know some spirits have energy so strong they can look exactly as they did when they were alive? More about that in my next post!

Patrick Swayze

Saturday, September 19th, 2009

Hi. I’m SusanPsychic, creator and founder of The Psychic Buzz Group. What makes a psychic buzz? Let me count the ways. I buzz on my internet radio show, on my blog and in my forum. I’ll buzz you up in my teleclass designed to help you develop your intuition. Those who’ve passed on can hear me buzz and they buzz me back. I’m a medium and trance channel. If you want to hear me buzz, you can buzz me. I’m here for you. Email or call today 928-301-1988. To listen to a real mediumship session go to my website I’d love to have you fly in.

Today I’m buzzing about Patrick Swayze. He was a favorite, and after I saw his movie, “Ghost,” with Whoopi Goldberg and Demi Moore I often wondered what Patrick truly believed about the spirit world. After watching and listening to recent media reports about him, since his death a few days ago, I believe he probably knew there was more out there because in July of 2008, he told a reporter, “I’m just an individual living with cancer. I’m a miracle dude. I don’t know why.”

As we all know Patrick died of pancreatic cancer even though in his interviews he seem hopeful and passionate about winning the battle. He said “Dance is a metaphor for life,” “You’re born. You peak. Your physical body goes downhill, but your spirit stays intact.” I agree with Mr. Swayze and go a step further. His spirit remains whole. I know because I am in contact with our dearly beloved. I am a medium and trance medium.

For the movie, “Ghost” Patrick teamed with Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg to portray spirit communication. This movie opened my eyes to my own gifts and it revealed the secret I had been hiding from myself and others for so long. I had a name for myself and I wasn’t alone. I was bombarded with ghostly encounters much like Oda May (portrayed by Whoopi Goldberg) had been. This movie lightened my dark and heavy load. The movie was funny and made it all seem so natural. Being a medium is a joy. On the other side the spirit of our loved ones do not give up until they give their message.

The movie showed dark shadowy figures, they were the keepers who helps the murderer see the error of their ways. The dark figures depicted the beliefs of hell. Just like in the movie, love is the answer in the spirit world.

Patrick Swayze’s physical body has expired but his spirit soars as did Sam’s spirit when Unchained Melody carried him to the light.

Patrick was a kind, quite, and a regular sort of guy and those of us who were fortunate to live in the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California saw him and his beautiful wife of 30 years, Lisa Niemi at the gas station and in the shops around Arrowhead and Running Springs. One day, a friend of mine went up to him as he was pumping gas and said “Hello Patrick”. He touched his finger to his lips grinning playfully as if to say, “Let this be our little secret”.

Patrick Swayze actor, song writer, and dancer can measure his success by the lives he touched and his work that brought joy to the lives of millions.

Swayze’s inspiring memoir, The Time of My Life, co-written with his wife will be published on September 29.

Table Tipping a Popular Past Time of the Home Spirit Circles during the Spiritualist Era by Susan Norgren

Monday, June 8th, 2009

One day, my Aunt Bonnie and I decided to try our hand at table tipping. The table rocked back and forth and began to levitate off the floor and moved up and down. In fact, we were able to make it walk all over the room and bounce up and down! We asked yes and no questions and on this occasion I remember that we asked about her father in law and his health. Through me, my aunt received the information that her father in law would have a stroke and that he would pass shortly after that. I didn’t know it then but table tipping is a physical tool for communicating with the spirit world. Outside of the Ouija board, one of the most popular methods of experimentation for home circles was table tipping.

During the early 1900’s, when professional mediums all over the country were claiming to communicate with the spirits, ordinary people developed in interest in psychic phenomena. Most of these people had neither the means, nor the access, to professional mediums, so many of them developed “home circles”. The home circles were simply small collections of family and friends who would get together and attempt to contact the spirit world. A number of the home circles began to believe that their attempts to communicate with the spirits were actually successful. Their amateur séances, they believed, were actually connecting with ghosts and the spirit world.

Many of the members of the circles quickly began to realize that what was causing the planchettes of Ouija boards to move, tables to tip and mysterious rappings sounds to be heard was not the work of ghosts, but rather the collective work of the human mind. The energy created by gathered a group of people together who were intent on a single purpose could produce some amazing results.
Through Table tipping you can ask your spirit guides and angels questions about:

• How and what your deceased family members and/or dear friends are doing on the other side of the spiritual veil.
• Karma you came in to balance in this life.
• How to understand Soul lessons you wanted to complete.
• How to empower yourself to gain the most out of your relationships.
• What talents and goals you planned to achieve in this life.
• What missions you planned to do for the planet and humanity in this historical period.
• Research past lives to better understand yourself and your goals for a happy life.
• Knowing all about your soul mate.

Table Tipping is a physical tool for communicating with the spirit world. It has been used as a parlor game, and is discounted as a gimmicky phenomenon. Table Tipping, also known as table tilting is a remarkable method of examining the psychic abilities of the average human mind.

Table Tipping can be dramatic. If someone at the table possesses powerful energy, the table will levitate off the floor and rock back and forth. There is really no way to fake it to make it work. The criteria for positive results, seems to be the motive and spiritual development of the operators. If you have a skeptic in the group, generally the table will not move.

A minimum of two to four people are needed to do this. Any table will do but an old wooden card table is best, or a TV tray, as it is smaller. There must be enough chairs to fit around the table for all participants. You do a shield of protection around all participants. All sitters should try to go into a no mind state with only their fingertips on the edge of the table. Another method is to have each person rest their hands flat on the top surface of the table. In unison, all sitters should chant “Table up” “Table up”. Get ready for an immediate response. Soon, all will feel the energy in their hands and the table will begin to quiver and rise slightly, sometimes it will even lift on one leg.
If there is someone who has passed over recently, ask for that person, if not; always ask to speak to a high level spirit. Remember to ask only “Yes” or “No” questions. The table’s tapping on the floor once for a yes or twice for a no response, will answer the questions.

Spirit Boards (Ouija Boards)

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

I would like to clear up some misconceptions and superstitions.
What is true is that the Ouija boards are not toys. They were originally made to communicate and converse with someone who is dead. Is it any wonder that the Spirit board is shrouded in superstition and mystery?

It is not bad, or evil. Horror movies and society have made it bad. Some of the superstitions surrounding the Ouija would be considered an urban legion. People say that the board is a means of bringing the devil/Satan into the world. Some say that evil demons trick people into becoming spiritually possessed, creating harassment and oppression by using the board. None of these superstitions are true. Oh, and by the way, the Ouija board does NOT scream when you burn it.

The Ouija Board became popular during the Spiritualist Movement in the United States during the mid-19th century. Methods of divination during this time used various ways to spell out the messages, sometimes using a pendulum which swung over a plate that had letters painted around the edge. Most often used was a wooden tablet with caster attached. The tablet called a planchette was affixed with a pencil that wrote out the messages much like automatic writing. The methods mentioned above may predate modern Spiritualism. It was used for the purpose of bring spirit through to receive messages. Spirit Boards were used to channel a spirit while using the board.

The medium is also many times aware of what the spirit is thinking and instinctively knows what the next word is because when you are willing to allow the spirit to use your eyes to see the board, you also allow it to use your consciousness as well. The spirit has the ability of influencing your mind and brain to form the words it needs to communicate.

The Ouija or Spirit Board as I prefer to call it is another tool used to open to your Mediumship abilities. The board itself has no special powers, neither does the planchette. “The board acts as an indicator for your subconscious linking your physical body in with the world of spirit.” It is simply one of the tools used by a medium to communicate with the spirit world.

When you use the board you open up to your intuitive abilities. Some of you will open to your own Mediumship abilities. When this happens there is no turning back. So do NOT use the board if you are high or if you have been mood altered in any way.

The Ouija board may not be safe for some personality types. The Ouija board may be dangerous if you believe that what you experience is bad or evil. If you believe the board is not going to work, or if you are afraid of what your experience will be, it is probably best if you do not seek out the experience. Addictive personalities probably should never use the spirit board as it can be almost as addictive as alcohol. It probably is not be wise for you to use it every day. If you are sick do not play with the board, you do not want a lonely spirit to attach itself to you. Never invite a spirit to come home or to stay with you. I don’t think it would be very wise to ask the spirit to move something in the room or to ask for a physical sign. How will you remove it later? Don’t ask the board if you or someone you know is going to die. You just might get an answer you do not want to hear and will worry the rest of your life about it.

As with anything the energy vibration of the spirit or entity that comes through will usually be at the same or a higher level as yours. By all means before you begin ask for and feel protected this may be in the form or a prayer if you choose. Tell the board that you want only the highest and best energy to come through to visit.

When as is sometimes the case, things become negative, tell it to leave or terminate the communication. It is wise to remember that the spirit that comes through is potentially dangerous.

Remember, the board is your tool to open up intuitively to the spirit world. Respect it. At the end of your session say “Good Bye” it breaks the connection between you and the spirit world.

Looking on the internet, for documentation I found that some famous people have used the Ouija board.

Alice Cooper claims that a Ouija board suggested that he was the reincarnation of a 17th century witch with the name Alice Cooper, and thus the band’s name “Alice Cooper”.
Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi held a séance in 1978 with other professors at the University of Bologna in which a Ouija board spelled the word Gradoli. This turned out to be the name of a street in Rome where a Red Brigades safe house was located.[25]
Bill Wilson the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous used the Ouija Board to contact spirits.[26] His wife said that he would get messages directly without even using the board.[27]For a while, his participation in A.A was deeply affected by his involvement with the Ouija board. Wilson claimed that he received the twelve step method directly from a spirit without the board and wrote it down.[28]
During sleepovers with her friends, Amy Carter would use an Ouija board to get into contact with Abraham Lincoln, who is believed to be in the Lincoln Bedroom. Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spirit Communication and the Afterlife

Sunday, June 7th, 2009

The shadow is not just what is hidden from view, it is what most of us do not want to see. I was chosen by the spirits to see beyond the way we put things together in this dimension. There is no time and space only energy, even chaotic energy is charged with energy, and the shape changes effortlessly, which allows the present to be created then to fold and unfold. Patterns are revealed creating a feeling of connection and spiritual renewal, revealing many astoundingly accurate predictions. Once I became aware that I was a part of an interconnected whole, spirit was able to move in and through my life allowing me access to information that had remained hidden until I was ready to experience transformational truths.

During my Mediumship readings I find that many times spirit gives to me their death experience, to be used as a reference point. Kind of like giving birth, you remember that it was painful but as soon as you gave birth, you forgot about the pain in the joy of the new life you brought into the world. The death experience while painful for a brief moment is what allows them to leave their physical body, and to be reborn in spirit.

Ensouled and full of spirit they find themselves in a new living world with great transcendental truths. As spiritual beings without physical bodies to limit them, they can interface between the physical and spiritual world, totally connected with the flow of life.

The astral mists are not dark. I have witnessed many passing moments and it wasn’t twilight or dark. I know that for me the brightness I have seen when others come through to share is much like the brightness of a beautiful sunny day here except the colors are more vivid more alive somehow. Almost as if they have texture. Sometimes the spirit seems to fly on home, at other times loved ones are there waiting to laughingly greet them, just like a family reunion.

I have never seen anyone who is in Limbo. I have not noticed this to be the case in the spirit world. I have never seen a bunch of souls waiting to be categorized and assigned to their spot in heaven so to speak. I have seen that those who are not very aware of where or even who they are always have someone to assist them. These souls who need help transitioning receive loving help until they are able to recognize that they are in their new existence. Also, if the spirit needs to be protected to prevent causing repercussions throughout the universes there three higher level guides assigned to protect him. Because where they are it is –hought and the instant reality of that thought is created.

In my experience you receive on the other side what ever it is you believe your heaven will be. Spirit shows itself even if you don’t believe. They show even if they didn’t believe. It doesn’t matter what your religion or belief is, or even if you want spirit to show itself. Spirit will do its best to let you know they love you. Loved ones who come to visit do so because they want too, they also want to help you with your pain of loss. Because they are energy they will come visit as often as is good for you and for them. I know others say they can get stuck here because of your grief but I do not get that this happens very often. They pop in and out that quick. Like a parent checking up on their kids. Because there is not time element like here they can show up at the strangest times and in the strangest places which can really take you by surprise!

I did a Mediumship reading today for a woman I had never met. We did this reading over the phone. Before her reading which I didn’t know was going to be a Mediumship reading I opened to my client’s energy. I saw her as a little girl standing in a pair of man’s shoes the kind that lace and tie. They where shiny and I could tell that this was many years ago. I asked her who’s shoes she was trying to fill? Her reply “My dad” I even have a picture of that day.
Her dog came through as well and told her how much she appreciated being in my client’s life and that she appreciated her being there with her during her physical passing. Next, her mother came in. Her energy was so clear and she mentioned that she had moved from her home to her other home, and that she was glad to have her teeth back again. It was verified that the mother had an upper plate and that her teeth were often forgotten and left at home when she was out in public. Come to find out, this woman had dementia and was out of her body most of the time for many years before she passed in her home and my client’s sister kept forgetting to put in her mother’s teeth!

I know from these experiences and my own experiences that Death is not an ending. I also know that spirit does in fact bring us messages to give you the confirmation you need for your healing.

Spirit to Spirit,
Susan
